2015 Touché - Napa Valley (Only 600 bottles were made)

"A blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot coming from Diamond Mountain, Mount Veeder and Howell Mountain, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Touche was aged for 27 months in 100% new French oak barrels. Deep garnet-purple colored, it bursts from the glass with gregarious plum preserves, creme de cassis and blackberry pie scents plus underlying notions of Chinese five spice, potpourri, dark chocolate and tapenade and a waft of smoked meats. Very big, full-bodied and laden with black fruit preserves, the palate delivers loads of exotic spice sparks and a firm, grainy frame, finishing very long and layered, One for the hedonists!" - Lisa Perrotti-Brown

"The best of the lineup is the 2015 Touché and it's 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc, and the balance Petit Verdot, all aged 27 months in new French oak. Dark currants, blueberries, kirsch, sandalwood, and pine forest notes all dominate the nose and it's powerful, full-bodied, and concentrated on the palate, with terrific fruit. Despite being a big, rich wine, it stays nicely balanced and just glides over the palate. It will last for 15 years or more." - Jeb Dunnuck
